Wedding Ideas joined hundreds of brides-to-be at this weekend’s National Wedding Show at London’s Olympia and we weren’t disappointed with the amount of fabulous new ideas on show! Pippa from the team was on hand to catch up with all the latest trends from the wedding world, and we’ve got just a few of her favourite finds below.

“One of the highlights of the National Wedding Show for me is the amazing Catwalk Show. This year’s catwalk was full of amazing new looks for the whole bridal party but my favourites were the lace styles from Justin Alexander at the London Bride boutique; the 20s-inspired dresses from high street hotties Phase Eight; and the bright and beautiful suits at Moss Bros. Bright themes are going to be big this year!”
“The show is all about finding details – big and small – and shoe expert Rachel Simpson didn’t disappoint. Her new collection for 2014 is full of pretty pastel colours, perfect for spring and summer brides. I love the metallic touches, too!”
“We loved Lavenders of London’s stylish reception ideas featuring glamorous candelabra, mirrored table centres and sparkly votives. If you’re planning a glamorous theme this is certainly the look for you!”
“Maids to Measure were showing off their gorgeous coloured lace gowns – a hot trend for bridesmaids in 2014. The sheer necklines and figure-flattering styles were going down a storm with a brides-to-be.”
