Wedding season is here and it brings with it the chore of trailing through a centuries-old inventory of romantic playlists to find the perfect first dance songs for your wedding.

5 top tips on how to choose your first dance song

With wedding season now in full swing, Spotify has revealed the top ten most popular songs couples are choosing for their first dance. The beloved music streaming service compiled the list after analysing thousands of playlists titled “first dance”.

Unsurprisingly, topping the global list is Ed Sheeran’s ‘Thinking Out Loud’ followed by Etta James’ ‘At Last’ in second place (previously in first place), and coming in third most popular is Ray LaMontagne’s ‘You Are the Best Thing’.
