Everyone has a budget, but I definitely agree that you shouldn’t scrimp on your wedding photography – after your the your dress is packed away and the last crumb of wedding cake has been eaten your wedding photos will be all that you have left to remember your special day.

Choose the best photographer that your budget allows – as a wedding photographer I am obviously going to be biased, but I also speak from personal experience when my husband and I get married a nearly 2 decades ago (long before we trained as wedding photographers) it was a fairly low key, low budget affair – we had a fantastic time, but didn’t have an official photographer rather relying on family and friends – they did their best, but when I look at the photos it is with regret. All we have a is a series of snaps, most of which seem to have been taken from an extreme distance. If I could turn the clock back I would have definitely have booked an experienced, professional wedding photographer!
