Take style inspiration from model Devon Windsor and her stunning 2019 three-day wedding held in St Barths. Tousled waves prove to be the ultimate match for any boho bride. A soft look that frames the face and is suitable if you decided on wearing a veil. Simply apply a soft mousse and part your hair slightly off centre. Clip the top half of your hair up and begin wrapping various sized strands of hair around a large barrel curling iron. Alternate directions as you make your way to the top half of your hair. Finish by curling the two framing pieces away from your face and shake with your fingers. Voila, beachy bridal waves in a matter of minutes.

You may associate a ponytail as being too laid-back for such a ceremonious day. But sometimes it’s worth taking the unconventional and turning it on its head, as Olivia Palermo did for her wedding day. Style your hair as the above and gather your locks into a mid height ponytail. Loosen gently and softly pull out short strands to frame your face. Spray in place and you are set to transition from the altar to the reception ready to party.

The Low Maintenance Low Bun

A low bun is a trusted favourite and one of the most simple yet effective easy wedding hair ideas, always offering up an air of refined sophistication. Drawing on ballerina-esque beauty, whether sleek or a little tousled, the low bun requires minimal time and effort to create a chic look. You could also add pearl or flower wedding hair accessories for an extra touch. To achieve this look create a centre part using a tail comb. Then brush your hair into shape, down and back whilst adding a little bit of lift. Add shine to the crown using a reflect spray and tie into a low ponytail. Begin twisting and lift the ponytail around the base of your neck. Finish by securing with bobby pins and smooth away any cheeky flyaways.
