Nadine Bejou, Founder of IDINA Bride, says beaded looks and party dresses will be in. “Designers are diving deep on the second look (also known as the party dress or reception dress)!
“In the past a lot of designers would explore transitional looks where their ceremony gown can transform to a party dress by the removal of a sleeve or skirt.
“But this season I really felt like designers were ditching transitional looks and putting prime focus on offering more variety for brides who want to showcase two completely different looks on their big day.”

Ball Gowns
Ball gowns were centre stage for a lot of designers this season, says Nadine. “We saw a lot of designers this season elevate their ball gowns as the final and most glamorous look to finish off their collection.
“The traditional silhouette was widely celebrated as we saw designers focus on elaborate detailing and corseted structures bringing the fairytale story to life and not shying away from holding back any drama.”

Seen in New York Bridal Fashion Week 2023, feathers are playful and romantic. We saw Liz Martinez double down on a few feathered looks paired with elaborate beading and sheer silhouettes. Lapointe didn’t disappoint with their feathered cuff that could be easily added to a number of their looks.

Blue Hues
With the past two years seeing many weddings being turned on their heads, brides are more and more likely to move away from the norm and go for more unusual wedding trends.
